日本グラフィックデザイナー協会広島支部主催、 HIROSHIMA APPEALS 2012 出品作品。 初めてJAGDA広島のポスター展に参加した時の作品です。 戦争や原子爆弾の悲惨さという重い題材に対し、 どうコミュニケーションを構築するか。 できればストレートな表現を避けたい。 でも、原爆の閃光と熱線と爆風の中で死んでいった人たちが何を思ったか、、、私なりにいろいろ考えて「水」が欲しかったのではないだろうかと思うようになり、このコップの無い水のビジュアルにたどり着きました。私の考えでは、平和を欲して死んでいったのではなく、冷たい水を飲み干したかったのではないでしょうか？この作品は意見的な表現ではなく死んでいった方たちへの供物として制作しました。 WATERのTEを取るとWAR（戦争）という言葉に変化します。 狙ったわけではありませんが、自分の選んだ言葉への皮肉にも感じます。 HIROSHIMA APPEALS 2012 exhibition work sponsored Japan Graphic Designers Association Hiroshima branch. It is a work for the first time. How are communications constructed to a heavy theme of misery of a war and an atomic bomb? If possible, I want to avoid a straight expression. However, the people who had died in the flash, heat ray, and the blast of the atomic bomb came not to think whether to have wanted "Water", and reached the visual of water without this glass at last. It did not die wanting peace but I might have wanted to drink up the cool water. This work is not an opinion expression. It designed as offerings to the dying people.
